The Arrest of Kyle Hagan for being 'White'

Update on this story - Clyde Powless took Officer Sloan aside to have a private talk prior to Kyle being approach by Officer Sloan. Maybe Officer Sloan can let the public know what he and Clyde spoke about and what appears to end as a mutual understanding about something. Minutes after this private conversation Officer Sloan arrested Kyle. Less than one minute later Clyde Powless confronts Merlyn Kinrade and within two minutes he assaults and confronts two OPP officers. Of course Clyde Powless was never arrested and was allowed to walk about freely which enabled Clyde to attack me.

On Dec. 1, 2007, Kyle Hagan was arrested for standing while being 'White' watching a peaceful protest. This time the OPP called it 'obstructing police'.

From the photos to the right you can see Kyle was just standing drinking a coffee. He wasn't blocking traffic, he wasn't holding a protest sign, he wasn't anywhere near the front of the protest and he wasn't even speaking.

Officer S. Sloan walks into the crowd and picks out Kyle who was doing nothing. The charge was just the OPP's way of intimidating residents instead of dealing with the illegal smoke shops or dealing with the numerous assaults upon OPP officers by Native Protesters that day.

As you can see from the Photo I was watching officer S. Sloan as he singled out Kyle for this bogus charge. Did Officer Sloan walk among the Native Protesters and pick one out to be arrested? Did he even dare speak to a Native Protester and tell him/her could be arrested?

From several videos you can witness this event including the fact that Kyle, to his credit, peacefully allowed himself to be arrested. Kyle gave no resistance and did't even question the officer who arrested him.

It is truly a shame when Officer S. Sloan decided that his Oath of Office no longer meant anything. Maybe Officer S. Sloan forgot that the Charter of Rights is against Race Based Policing and that Kyle has certain rights in Canada.

Of course, under Fantino's leadership non-Natives have no Rights. Residents in Caledonia are mere troublemakers if they don't just sit back and allow Fantino's Police State Tactics to take over the Province. One would hope that officers like Mr. Sloan would refused to follow the OPP Race Based Policing Policies, but, as we have seen so many times before, this is not the case.

Of course, I am sure there will be Police Service Complaints and lawsuits against Officer Sloan and the OPP but do they really care?... No, because it is the taxpayers who pay when Fantino's Police State tactics fail to understand that Canada is a Democracy.

McGuinty hired Fantino because Fantino is a bully, of which there is a clear record of him being a bully. McGuinty doesn't care about Law & Order nor about Democracy. These are the people of power who care only about keeping and controlling their power. The Rights of the People are the last thing Fantino and McGuinty worry about.
