Unedited emails - just a few from people who agreed to let us post them.
We will be posting a story about all the support and encouragement we have received since Saturday.
Thanks

Christine and Gary,

I am sitting here in tears as I read your latest post about not having paid your August mortgage payment and the difficulties you are facing.  I am a widow living in Hagersville with my son.  We need and depend on your site for all the latest information.  We pass by the Dalton Creek Estates every day on our way to work.  I also live paycheque to paycheque and don't get paid till Thursday.  I would like to make a contribution, even though it may be small.  Please email me with an address I could mail a cheque to.  You are right about Canadians not giving a damn and not committing to political causes, but I am a dual citizen - US and Canadian.  So from one Freedom Fighter to another, I just want to say "Thank you".   Whatever the outcome of your situation, you are the best !!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Gary:

We want to thank you and your wife for your dedication.  Our hope is that you will continue to keep the entire Canadian population informed.  We certainly cannot count on any politician or branch of the media to give honest accounts of the Caledonia events.

My husband and I are disgusted with politicians of all colours, the lack of equitable law enforcement, and the total lawlessness in Caledonia.

We drove past the site yesterday.  Nothing "appeared" to be going on.  Of course, the natives don't cause much difficulty during the daylight hours especially when the courts and politicians are working in their favour.  Their terrorism continues to be reserved for nightfall.

I spent twenty-three years as an elementary school teacher.  I preached about pride in our country and respect for the laws of our land.  I drilled into young minds that the police officer was our friend and we could count on him/her to help us.   I spent hours dealing with young bullies who taunted and harassed others.  I spoke out against prejudice.  The Caledonia crisis has certainly changed me.

As a retired teacher, I am outraged that there are 500 young children, soon to be exposed to blatant acts of terrorism.  And, it is terrorism when masked men in army fatigues "parade" within view of young children on a playground.  Our teachers should not have to deal with police officers and surveillance cameras while, a few miles away, on the reserve, native children can peacefully begin their school year, with no anxiety.....in a publicly-funded school.   I am fearful of the escalating hostilities that, no doubt, will occur in Caledonia's high school.  My heart aches for the students, parents, and teachers.  This is just wrong!

We have decided that the deed to our acreage is probably worthless, leaving us feeling threatened and very vulnerable.  Certainly, there must be a remnant of an arowhead, somewhere on the premises, to prove the property is not ours.  Our land is not located close to the presently "disputed area.  Yet, we are fearful and plagued by uncertainty.

By the way, our land has been in the family since 1830.  Some of our ancestors are buried here.  Do you suppose, since there is a burial ground on the premises, the natives will let us keep our land?  I think not.

We want to send some financial assistance your way.  What is the best way for us to do this?  Please keep your web-site alive.  Thousands of people are counting on you to keep us informed.

Hello Gary and Christine

I would like to apologize for not answering your call earlier, I wish I could send you thousands , but unfortunately four years ago I was in a serious motorcycle accident and was left permanently disabled and unable to work, I receive a monthly C.P.P cheque (which I had to fight for ) during the past four years my wife has looked after me, and battled cancer twice (and won ) the drugs we both take are very expensive and not covered.
My CPP arrives at the end of month, I will be more than happy to donate$100 of it to you ( Haldimand Hydro can wait for theirs this month) I know $100  will not help much, if I could sell the home I purchased on the Beautiful Grand River many years ago I would certainly be your biggest backer, but so far I have found nobody willing to purchase property on Disputed land.
I sit here with tears in my eyes as I am ashamed of being Canadian and of Canada. I cannot believe we have  let this happen.
Gary I do not know you or your wife but I would like to thank you both for everything you have tried to do .

We Love you both
May God Bless and keep you always

Hi Gary:

It looks as though Caledonia is a miniature version of Canada.  Apathetic, cheap and cowardly.  The only thing more embarrassing than the meager amount donated to the class action is the paltry sum donated to support your web site.  Please e-mail me the address and I will send another $50.  Perhaps you should ask the other donators if they would allow their names to be shown on the web site.  This may encourage a few more people to make a donation.  I have suggested this to the people who are involved with the class action.  It certainly can't hurt.  Many of my neighbors log on daily and are very impressed with the information provided.  I will talk things up during the week and try to convince more people to donate.  Don't give up the ship just yet.

All the best

People of Ontario:

If you care about our future generations like the natives do check out this site. If not we are doomed the natives are learning what works and what does not. Next town good luck NOBODY cares like they should. People laugh at me at work when I tell them they are after Canada. Who is going to stop them YOU; I will with help believe me its true but I need number of caring men. They may not get Canada in our lifetime but they have time on their hands; do you think our ancestors saw this coming I didn't. But we know now what in store for our future generation shame on us for doing nothing to stop this. When your taxes go up you know why but do not complain for we do not have that right. I gave to Gary a check and I also gave $100 to support a lawsuit for our town. I did my part and my head is high and it feels good.

Thanks Gary next pay I will send another check not rich but some one has too. Send this to any one who care's or know some who does care.

Every Canadian needs to know the truth and Gary has done that; with lots of hours of hard work. If not Gary maybe the media now that’s a joke; what did we really know about Ipperwash next to nothing and we still know nothing. Have you hear the media tell us about the body part's found there; now dug up by a dog. The body parts were cut not chewed by the dog. Now two people have been identified Mr. McMillan a contractor from Collingwood and the second victim was a mentally challenged adult who only lived at Ipperwash two weeks before his death. Who will be next since they can do what they want to that land even bury a body in it? It's not like they are up all night right.

Do what you thinks is right and then live with it. If any one cares contact me.
