City 's injunction upheld

November 19, 2010 Brantford Expositor

A Superior Court justice has upheld the city's injunction against native protesters who have caused work stoppages at construction sites in the city.

In a just-released judgment, Justice Harrison Arrell has also rejected applications by the protesters to quash two bylaws the city used to arrest them, and he has ordered them to "cease and desist" from intimidating workers and activists that cause work stoppages at construction sites.
