MADOC — Provincial police charged a Belleville man with a variety of offences after a traffic stop Thursday evening in the Millbridge area, north of Madoc.
Police said a car with four males inside appeared "suspicious" and OPP pulled the vehicle over. One of the males was charged with possessing contraband cigarettes, dangerous weapons, ammunition and breaching a probation order.
He was released with a promise to appear in October, but police did not release his name, nor did they provide a reason for withholding his name.
