Public health authorities issued four fines for tobacco-related offences in the last quarter.
Statistics are published quarterly, with the latest released in a report to the Hastings and Prince Edward Counties Board of Health.
Smoke-Free Ontario enforcement officers inspected 163 public places between April 1 and June 30, according to the report.
They made 61 checks to ensure retailers aren't selling tobacco to minors. A further 70 inspections were made to enforce new restrictions on displaying tobacco products.
Super Duper on Bridge Street West in Belleville was fined $65 after an April 7 inspection cited the store's failure to post age restriction and health warning signs.
The Go Go Club on North Front Street was fined $365 plus court costs for failing to ensure no ashtrays or similar equipment were in the building. The report noted the fine had not been paid. The inspection occurred April 10 with a conviction recorded June 1.
An unnamed student at Bayside Secondary School was found holding lit tobacco in a prohibited place April 15. The student was convicted May 20 and fined $305.
And to the north, Cunningham Country Store in McArthur's Mills, east of Bancroft, was fined $65 June 24 for supplying tobacco to someone under age 19.
Enforcement staff also dealt with more than 56 public complaints, questions and requests for information.
The report noted that as of July 1 it's illegal in Ontario to offer to sell, distribute and offer to distribute flavoured cigarillos.
That includes products weighing under 1.4 grams, excluding mouthpiece or tip and are in roll or tube form with a wrapper containing natural or reconstituted leaf tobacco.
It also includes products with cellulose acetate or other types of filters that come in tube or roll form and have wrappers containing natural or reconstituted leaf tobacco.
