Napanee OPP reported officers have seized 3,000 cigarettes that police allege were destined for illegal sales. A car was pulled over Tuesday afternoon on Centre Street in Napanee and an officer found 2,000 bagged cigarettes. A 41- year-old man from Centre Hastings was charged, but police did not release the man's name.Also Tuesday, an officer stopped a car on Highway 401 near Shannonville Road and discovered 1,000 unmarked cigarettes. There is no information on whether any charges were laid in that incident.
