Dear fellow citizens of Brantford:
I am totally outraged that the Brantford police and OPP have not protected the democratic rights of good, proper tax paying and job creating citizens like King Span and all of us for that matter.
It does not matter if you are an individual or large corporation, once grated the go ahead, it's your right to begin construction in peace, that's it!
This on going thing with six nations will never be resolved, and it's not our problem anyways.
Police are here to protect and enforce the law's of this country plain and simple.
Our local economy has been severely damaged because the police did not due their duty and remove native protesters, from our construction sights.
So if Brantford suffers a huge economic loss because the police refused to enforce the law, are they not liable for that loss? If there are any lawyers willing to comment, please correct me if I'm wrong.
I think Mr. Boots (the illegal smoke shack guy on hwy no.6) said it perfectly : If our collective rights as citizens don't boil down to the individual, then we have no rights.
Put that in your peace pipe and smoke it, Mr. Dalton McGuinty and Mr. Steven Harper.
