It appears houses are starting to sell in Caledonia, but their values have taken a big hit. ReMax realtor Rod Frank estimates properties have dropped in value by ten to twenty thousand dollars since the native land occupation at Douglas Creek Estates, but neighbours in the area say it's more like fifty thousand dollars. One home owner says she bought her Caledonia home a little over a year ago for 217 thousand dollars when it was originally listed at 260 thousand dollars in late 2007.
