OTTAWA — Seven people were arrested and more than 4,000 re-sealable bags or cartons of contraband cigarettes were confiscated by police in the Cornwall area in four separate incidents since Saturday.
Police also confiscated a vehicle used to transport cigarettes.
All seven were charged with possession of a tobacco product not properly stamped. They were all released and will appear in court at a later date.
