Caledonia activist Gary McHale says OPP Commisioner Julian Fantino has not seen the last of him. McHale called Fantino to the witness stand yesterday, in McHale's hearing steming from a December 1st smoke shop protest that turned violent, saying the Commisioner had forcused his energies on restricting his right to freedom of speech. McHale questioned Fantino on an email the commisioner sent to OPP superintendent Angle Howe that said "McHale has escalated conflict, which resulted in violence and the injury of OPP officers". McHale says he plans to bring Charter challenges on Fantino for abuse of power by the OPP and discrimination based on race. McHale's hearing will continue on April 21st and Fantino will return to the witness stand on April 22.
