Second man arrested in Caledonia blockade

CAYUGA – Haldimand OPP have arrested a second man in connection with incidents during the three-day blockade of the Highway 6 bypass in April.

Byron Daniel Powless, 19, of Ohsweken was arrested early yesterday morning.

He is charged with mischief and disguise with intent

The blockade, led by the Six Nations men's council, began April 26  in support of Mohawk protesters occupying a quarry near Deseronto, in eastern Ontario. It ended three days later.
