A 19-year-old Ohsweken man faces two charges in connection with a three-day blockade in Caledonia in April.
The incident occurred April 26 to 29 when a blockade was set up on the Highway 6 bypass in Caledonia. The blockade was established in solidarity with Mohawk natives in Tyendinaga, near Deseronto, who were protesting mining plans. OPP closed Highway 6 between Greens Road and Argyle Street South.
Police have charged Byron Daniel Powless, 19, with mischief and disguise with intent.
