The Gazette
At montrealgazette.com/sound off, we asked you: What do you think about the tenor of the campaign so far? Have you been surprised by how negative the advertisements and rhetoric have been over the first few days? Here's some of what you had to say:
Children at Play: Mr. Harper will win the battle of wits. He's been outsmarting the other parties for years. It's funny to see these grown men act like children. The Liberals deserve every bit of the attacks. During the last election, the Liberals were attacking the Conservatives using scare tactics as if the boogey man was coming. It's not surprising at all they attack each other in the end. However, Mr. Harper is the best leader of all of them and probably the smartest leader we've had in generations.
Jake: Wouldn't it be something if any of these people would decide to run a campaign that would make Canadians proud! This is nothing more than childish behaviour that opens all Canadians' eyes to what and who we are voting for. Kinda scary, isn't it, that one of these idiots will be in charge of our once proud nation?
