I trust many of you will take the time to vote in our upcoming elections, but please choose a person with integrity, not just a party. The issues facing Brant and area need to be addressed once and for all, the main one being the native land claim issue.
Those wanting to be elected need not kiss babies, just tell us what are you going to do or present in Ottawa to relate just how grave this issue is in our riding; we need someone who will be relentless on this topic and if you're not have the guts to say so.
There are many issues to choose from in this election: land claims, health care, fuel prices, the economy and, last but not least, environment issues.
So pick the minds of those wanting to be elected-- let's not go like robots and "x" off a ballot just because that's the party our parents voted for, because in this day and age things change by the day, not like in the past when change took months and years.
