Keep educating on issues

Congratulations to Jim Windle, and the rest who chose to be proactive in communication and education by forming the group, T. R. U. E.

These past few years have clearly shown a disconnect between the historical and contemporary relationship between First Nations people and the "country" known as Canada.

In fact, this was one of the gaps clearly identified early on in the negotiations between the Haudenosaunee, the province and Canada: more education on First Nations issues.

I don't believe Windle has ever pretended to be native or pretended to have a native perspective, nor has he ever claimed to have a matrilineal or otherwise clan at Six Nations, let alone be a long lost relative of Joseph Brant!

It is a sad commentary but for the efforts of T. R. U. E.'s intentions and regardless of race, there are opposing forces which, more so than not, have personal agendas rather than real critique.

At the end of the day, it seriously detracts from the real task at hand and enables Canada to stall yet another day.

It is my hope that the recent negative energy provides fuel to Windle to push forward and continue to keep T. R. U. E. active, informative and in the best interest of communication and understanding through education.
