Putting out small fires

On April 20, the Anniversary of the day that law and order died, a bus left for Queen's Park. A small number of concerned citizens were on it. I was among them. A couple of miles outside of town Gary and Christine McHale were picked up. Gary sat in the front seat. I sat well back. Gary and I aren't allowed to communicate.

In the few days following the trip, every person on the bus with the exception of the McHales and I were visited or contacted by the OPP. They wanted to know if Gary and I had talked. McHale and I really don't know each other very well. He's never been to my house. I've never been to his (I helped them unload their stuff when they moved but Gary and I didn't communicate). The OPP considers us both to be instigators. McHale also gets to be an interloper. That means we must be collaborating. Also, I must stay 1.6 kilometers from the illegal smoke shack on Argyle Street. I received these conditions because I blocked Argyle Street for twenty minutes during a protest at said smoke shack. That was Dec. 1. Last I heard, it's still doing what illegal smoke shacks do.

On April 25, some Indians, unhappy about something, decided to block Highway #6. the OPP, who didn't bother to keep the Indians away from our protest, sealed the by-pass at both ends. The blockade lasted four days, I'm not sure what the Indians got, but I know what they didn't get: Arrested!

The OPP scrambles around putting out little fires on the fringe while the main inferno continues to grow unchecked. If you want to see where this is leading go to the library or the internet and study the events in Europe in the 1030s.

Aaron Detlor wants jurisdiction over Ontario, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Not to be out done Hazel Hill wants jurisdiction over Turtle Island (That's North America!). Michael Bryant says everything is ok. Talking is the only way to settle this.

I'm with Winston Churchill who said, prior to replacing the disgraced Chamberlain, "England has been offered a choice between war and shame. She has chosen shame – and will get war."
