Caledonia activist Gary McHale has sold his website CaledoniaWakeUpCall.com to concentrate on another project.

McHale said he made the decision to sell the site near the beginning of December, although he and his wife will still contribute content.

He would not identify who he sold the site to, only saying he was "a like-minded person," who wants to have law and order restored.

McHale said the new owner is in the process of learning the programming of the website and will probably be up to speed by the end of the week.

McHale will now be focusing on Canadian Advocates for Charter Equality, a group formed in August 2007. The Richmond Hill man has organized several rallies in Caledonia, where he charges there is two-tier justice.

He is currently banned from the town and some surrounding areas after being charged in connection with a protest Dec. 1, 2007. McHale did not organize the rally. He was charged with counselling to commit an illegal act, in this case an alleged mischief.
