In Have Your Say in the Dec. 14, 2007 edition of The Sachem, a letter was published under the heading "Pot calling the kettle black" concerning the Dec. 1 protest rally held in Caledonia over native cigarette sales. The Sachem withdraws any suggestion that those involved in the rally chanted "White Power" at any time or that the actions of Doug Fleming, Gary McHale or any others involved in the rally could be regarded as "white supremacist". We apologize for any harm that may have been caused by the letter.
