Cost of getting deed to lands could be higher

Is there a button on the reserve that they push and all of the hotheads come running out to protest something the white man is doing?

You had us on your side once, but enough is enough. One minute you're blaming the white man, then you're blaming the contractors, then it's the government for stealing your land. If it's your land, just show us your registered deeds for the property and we will pay the taxes owing. But we have a bill for you for looking after your property which will be for sewers, roads, garbage pickup, education, police and fire departments, and the list goes on. I think we might break even, but then again you might still owe us a few million more.

If the Indians claim that they're British subjects and Canada isn't their country, shouldn't they have British passports? And when they leave the reserve to come into Canada they'll have to show the checkpoint their passport before entering Canada. Plus, they'll have to pay all taxes for what they buy because their status cards won't mean anything in Canada anymore.

That means the British will have to pay for their police and fire departments, welfare and disability cheques and baby bonuses. They tell us they're not part of Canada, so why are we paying for them?

Watch what you wish for. Some day it might come back and bite you.
