Our inept prime minister has no difficulty taking on the responsibility of sending young Canadians into Afghanistan, in order to bring peace to that unfamiliar, distant and inhospitable region. That's three errors, according to The Art of War.

Yet Mr. Harper seems completely neutered when it comes to restoring peace and harmony in nearby, familiar Caledonia among citizens who would welcome any intervention. At least the law-abiding citizens would.
