There doesn't appear to be an easy solution to the internal division within the Six Nations community over the land claim negotiations with Ottawa and Queen's Park.
The divisions came to a head last week when several members of the community confronted David General, the Chief of the elected band council, and refused to let him sit in on the talks.
An emergency meeting was held over the weekend with band councillor Ava Hill warning the internal fighting will be exploited by the government.
She says all sides need to learn to get along for the sake of the community.
But they still haven't decided who should represent the community in the negotiations.
That issue will be discussed at a Band Council meeting tonight.
The internal divisions must be settled, before Ottawa and Queen's Park will return to the table.
The next set of negotiations are scheduled for March 21st and 22nd.
