Since when does a citizen of Canada, let alone one directly affected by the Caledonia land claim, not have the right to express their opinion? Apparently since Julian Fantino took the reins of the Ontario Provincial Police.
Yes, David Hartless is a Hamilton police officer but he is also a taxpayer in Ontario. He has the right to his opinion just like anyone else and he is not in violation of the Police Service Act. I question the true reason behind this investigation. He isn't the only citizen who has written Premier Dalton McGuinty on this issue.
