The mother of a young Six Nations man charged in relation to activities that took place at the reclamation site in Caledonia says her son feels that he’s been abandoned by his community. Rhonda Hill says her 20-year-old son Christopher was charged with assault with a weapon, assaulting an officer and breach of probation in relation to the raid that took place at the site on April 20th last year. He was arrested on January 2nd and has been in custody ever since. She also said that her son has been denied legal aid so they have been trying to deal with the costs of his defence. Those that are willing to take the time to find out more about Christopher are urged to stop by to the reclamation site this evening at six where his mother will be speaking. Her son will be in Cayuga court again Wednesday morning. Ms. Hill asks that you not let her son be yet another forgotten warrior.
