Haldimand Reveiw

A town hall meeting will give Caledonia residents and others an opportunity to voice their concerns and to speak about their issues related to the 11 month old Six Nations land claim protest.
Caledonia councillor Craig Grice is hosting the meeting on February 9 at the Caledonia Lions Hall beside the twin pad arena. He will begin at 7 p.m.
At a recent Haldimand County council meeting, Grice invited Mayor Marie Trainer and his fellow councillors to join him. “We have to be willing to listen,” he said. “They need to hear from Haldimand County.”
After some council members asked about meeting structure and presentations, Grice said this was an opportunity for council members to hear what residents had to say.
Regardless of the structure, Coun.Buck Sloat said he would attend. Since the spring, he has called for public meetings.
