Dear Mr. Chitreo,
I would like to lodge a complaint against Chief Fantino and the policies employed in
Incident Location:
Time: The last 9 months
Background:
I have lived in a part of the country in which policing has been absent. I have neighbours that have broken every that law that I know of. I have witnessed the OPP take no action to unlawful acts by natives that I myself could not do. I recognize a two tiered policing of my town, one set of rules for natives, another for non-natives. When I enquire why the law is not being enforced I am told “we are maintaining the peace”. The term ‘maintaining the peace’ is far too reaching and gives the OPP far too much choice as to which laws they will and will not enforce. I question the right of the OPP to be ‘peacekeepers’ as opposed to law enforcement. They are not keeping my peace, nor that of my law abiding neighbours. I question the policy of not encountering natives who are breaking the law. I question the ability of the OPP to ignore court orders. I question the decision of the OPP not to remove Natives from the DCE as trespassers at the very beginning of the terrorism we have experienced. I question the OPP and their policy of enabling and encouraging of further law breaking by their unwillingness to enforce the law.
I will refer you to the Canadian Charter of Rights.
Highlighted are the subsections of the Charter that I feel support my complaint of procedural misconduct by the OPP and Mr. Fantino.
Equality Rights: “…every individual is equal before and under the law…” Not according to OPP procedures.
Enforcement: “…Anyone who has had their rights infringed or denied…may apply to a court of competent jurisdiction to obtain such remedy…” Hence the class action law suit naming the OPP as a defendant. Further to the OPP’s refusal to carry out court orders and native snubbing of court orders. “…proceedings would bring the administration of justice into disrepute..”
General: “ …aboriginal treaty rights….shall not be construed as denying any other rights or freedoms that exist in
Application of charter: No Act or Provision has been declared by parliament suspending or modifying any of my rights in the Charter in reference to the Occupation.
Police harassment against residents who stand against the occupation is well known and I write this with fear of reprisals from the OPP.
Please protect my confidentiality.

Dear Mr. Chitreo,
I would like to lodge a complaint against Officer Greg Walter and Sgt. Marion Bowles.
Incident Location:
Time: Monday Nov. 13-Tues. Nov. 14
Background:
On Monday morning Nov. 13,
Officers Walter and Bowles showed up about
I found this ludicrous and called back the next day, Tuesday Nov. 14. I received a call from either Staff Seargent Bernick(not sure of spelling) or an officer who identified that he spoke to the Staff Seargent.
Either way, this officer explained that they have no ATV presence on the DCE and the complaint we lodged was followed up with the natives as per the chain of communication established for disturbances on the
We were lied to in order to protect the Natives and prevent incident reports from being filed. After all, who makes an incident report when the police are supposedly patrolling?
How blatant attempts at deceiving residents are expected to be believed is beyond me.
