A Six Nations man, wanted for robbery and assault in connection with an attack on a CH TV camera crew and theft of a U.S. Border Patrol vehicle in Caledonia, has been arrested on the Grassy Narrows Reserve in Northern Ontario.

Trevor Miller, 31, of Ohsweken, was located on the reserve 80 kilometres northwest of Kenora and arrested by two members of the Treaty Three Police Service Tuesday afternoon.

Treaty Three Staff Sergeant Judd Meeks said officers found Miller sitting in a pickup truck and arrested him on a warrant issued by the Haldimand OPP after three violent incidents June 9 at the native occupation of a housing development in Caledonia.

Miller has been returned from Kenora and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing in Cayuga court Monday at 9 a.m.

He is charged with robbery and assault for allegedly attacking two CH staffers and taking a camera as the news crew attempted to film native protesters swarming an elderly couple's car outside the disputed Douglas Creek Estates land-claim site June 9.

Miller is also charged with robbery in the theft of the border patrol vehicle after protesters had dragged two OPP officers and an American Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agent from the vehicle.

Haldimand OPP issued arrest warrants for eight suspects, including one man wanted for attempted murder following the violent June 9 incidents and another June 4.

Five persons have been arrested so far on charges ranging from theft to assault causing bodily harm.

Three suspects have not been located, including Albert Douglas, 30, of Six Nations, who is wanted for the attempted murder of a police officer. That charge was laid after someone drove the U.S. Border Patrol vehicle at an injured OPP officer.

Also outstanding are warrants for Skylar Williams, 22, of Ohsweken, for robbery, and one for Ron Gibson, 35, of Akwesasne, Que., who is charged with stealing a camera and tripod and with assaulting the same CH cameraman.
