I remember receiving a plaque from the OPP in Forest commending my community service on the policing committee during the upheaval at Ipperwash. Within a month of receiving this commendation, I wrote a newspaper about the escalation of crime in Ipperwash and the unfair approach of certain policing policies. I was called a racist by the OPP and a woman who likes to exagerate the circumstances. All of my complaints were well documented and truthfull. I was being told to back off and shut up. It is shameful in this day and age, the truth is being twisted and silenced by those in power who are only protecting themselves and the government from being accountable to the victims of crime. Keep up the good work.
You yourself are an amazing woman.
