Soon after Michael Bryant is thanked by Six Nations for intervening to STOP the OPP from enforcing the law, Mr. Bryant pays $25 million to Native Groups to help them pay for lawyers etc. - please note the Federal Government already pays for these lawyers. Land Claim Business is making money for a lot of people which is why they are never settled. The Federal government also pays for Health care on reserves but that didn't stop Mr. Bryant's recent announcement of $1.6 million to Six Nations... all in the last two weeks.

McGuinty: "Everyone is Responsble except me"
I know I bought DCE, had my lawyer fight against every injunction in the province, took Judge Marshall's ruling to the Appeals Court, repeatedly told the public that no matter how long it takes - negotiation is the only way, bragged that I could do it better than Mike Harris, told builders not to pay HDI then told them they are on their own, appointed Fantino to bully, threaten and to outright violate people's rights and was so pleased by his work that I extended his contract, helped pay for the lawyers of the very Native Protesters who are shutting down Billions in development, publicly claimed I supported the Title Deed system while doing nothing to help except for paying for Native Lawyers to directly challenge your title ownership... Hell, I even pay Fantino hundreds of Thousands of dollars to whine and complain it was all Gary McHale's fault...but other than these things... I am not responsible.
May 10, 2006 - Peaceful resolutions can be sluggish, Mr. McGuinty said, but added he's confident that talks led by former premier David Peterson are still the best way to resolve the crisis. “The best way out of this is through negotiation,” the Premier said. “It's slow, it is painstaking. It doesn't give us the kinds of obvious progress that we would like to be able to see every day and be able to demonstrate to the people of Ontario.”
May 10, 2006 - Kwinter played down his concerns, however, saying the OPP has a "global budget" and they didn't have to hire new officers to deal with Caledonia. "There's no additional costs. It has just been reallocated within the province." He added the OPP are also meeting their contractual obligations in other municipalities.
