Barrett calls for political action on the Caledonia front Government a year late in resolving dispute for all sides
Caledonia - Elected representatives along the historic Haldimand Tract must be made aware of the implications involved in the Caledonia land dispute - now nearing its one year anniversary.
To that end, Halidmand-Norfolk-Brant MPP Toby Barrett is disseminating contact information of MPPs and MPs along the tract, and encouraging concerned citizens to visit - either in their offices or on their front steps.
"Further to my commitment to ensure government doesn't simply forget about the occupation, I'm willing to call fire on my own position - protest in front of my office, and I will continue to take your message to the Premier," Barrett says in a recent e-mail update. "Many barely got through the past year, and some won't make it through the next - we simply cannot afford to let government put this dispute on the back burner.
February 28th marks the one year anniversary for the land dispute on the outskirts of Caledonia.
Attached is the contact information for the MPs and MPPs with ridings within comfortable driving range of Caledonia.
