The Following is how activties in Caledonia are being reported in various Native News websites: (coloured text not in original) April 20 [The day OPP finally enforce the court order to remove Natives] - "[4:20 a.m. report:] ALERT, ALERT! OPP INVADES SIX NATIONS - AIDED BY INDIAN TRAITORS - GO AND WITNESS... OPP DISRUPTS PEACE IN QUIET CALEDONIA... With this attack they have trashed any pretension to right and decency, democracy and the rule of law... This is a colonial government's hard core.. [6:45 am report - instruction Natives to] Get pepper sprayed, Get beat up, Get arrested, Get killed... They can do anything they want and who knows where it will stop. Take photos and tell your freinds... These attackers[OPP] find a place where they can live out their bizarre fantasies and manias. These people have a twisted view of society and a gun is put in their hands. No psychological testing is done on these guys in police, armies, and bureaucracies. The only test for surviving is a willingness to "follow orders", not the law. These people have no concept of what the law or true democratic rule is... Canada using Gestapo tactics... Canada following big brother george bush mentality - invasion, containment, imprisonment and torture of Indigenous people and their families... [5:55 am this morning] over 150 heavily armed Ontario Provincial Police with Native mercenaries as body shields, invaded Six Nations land... The traitors [the mercenaries] are the same kind of people who stabbed Crazy Horse, Geronimo... post as MNN Mohawk Nation News kahentinetha2@yahoo.com [Link, Link] |
Do words like "invasion, containment, imprisonment and torture of Indigenous people and their families" incite people to violence or peaceful protest?

Yellow alert for Warrior Societies From (Mush-ko-dah-be-shik-eese) Terrance Nelson, Okiijida Society Spokesman and Representative from Canada; National (US) Board of Directors: American Indian Movement March 31, 2006 The Okiijida Society is issuing a yellow alert for all Warrior Societies regarding the escalating situation between Mohawks at Six Nations and the Ontario Provincial Police. In 1990, most First Nations were in shock over the Oka crisis. Since 1990, warrior societies have meet regularly to plan out a strategy if a similar situation occurred. A yellow alert is a stand by alert issued by warrior societies to their membership on a particular situation. It is also a warning to Canada that the situation is being monitored. Mohawks at Six Nations issued the following, "At noon, Wednesday, March 29th, four Ontario Provincial Police OPP cruisers were spotted at the nearby Unity Road School, three Jimmys, about 14 to 15 undercover cops, two cruisers side by side above the site and on the other side at Canadian Tire the cruisers face the site directly .We welcome our brothers, sisters, friends and allies with open arms to stand in solidarity with us against this illegal invasion of Six nations Land (Highway 6, Caledonia Ontario)." In 1990, Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation was the first non Mohawks to blockade to show their support. The warrior societies across Canada agreed to the following on situations like this. 1. To stay in our home territory and monitor the situation. 2. That if bloodshed occurred we would take action in our territories that would include blockades but more importantly, we agreed that in the event of the Canadian army killing indigenous people, we would bring the Canadian economy to a halt. We have made it perfectly clear to Canada that the Treaties gave recognition to the whites to peaceful co-existence, deliberate bloodshed by Canada is an end to that treaty right. As the Mohawks stated "The whole issue is jurisdiction and title and we're allies, not subjects,". Canada must stop using guns to resolve its legal disputes with the Indigenous People. They know they stole it, they have to give it back." It will remain to be seen if the Conservatives who were in power in 1990 have learned anything from the Oka crisis. Policy of Warrior Society - from Six Nations' Website [Link] While the traditional people may have first supported the idea, a draft copy of the Policy of the Warrior Society showed that they were more preparing for war than for the maintenance of the Great Law of Peace. That policy stated that: No drugs or drinking was allowed - however, the warriors have been intimately involved in the spread of drugs, especially cocaine among their own people, destroying a younger generation through this dangerous drug. They have also been involved in supporting themselves by selling drugs and acquiring the weapons to protect this illicit trade. Weapons were not to be used accept for practice - however, the warriors have been running guns for use against their own people. They have fired thousands of bullets within our communities, destroying houses, vehicles and human lives. There would be squad leaders - This mimics a military operation and allowed individuals to have their own small group of goons to enforce their will on others. Every warrior is to have a weapon that should be kept from sight - However, they only hid their weapons when the police tried to investigate their crimes, otherwise the constantly brandished their weapons at their own people. 100 rounds per weapon are to be kept at all times - they shot so many bullets at their own people, it must have been difficult to keep this policy. The preferred weapons are 12 gauge shot guns, Mini 14 rifles, H & K 91 & 93, SKS and 7.62 x 39 Russian rifles - The warriors were involved in the smuggling of over 2,000 guns, many of which were used in crimes across the U.S. and Canada. The policy states that the warriors are to be a defensive force unless the War Chief directs them to go on the offensive - The warriors brought the situation at Kanesatake (Oka) to a deadly consequence, but when the warriors under their command had to give up, the warrior leaders escaped unharmed, after collaborating with the police and army against their own people. |

Many of the warrior leaders have openly advocated the use of gaming to generate money for their other enterprises... [Warriors] begin a reign of terror that included beatings, drive-by shootings, ramming cars on reservation roads and thousands of rounds being fired at cars, homes and opponents of gambling. We called the RCMP terrorist hotline (1-800-420-5805) to ask why some of the Natives are not classified as terrorists and we were clearly told that the Warriors were a "criminal organization involved in drugs, cigarette smuggling and gun running but not a terrorist group."
