| For all those asking for the source of the posting of the Liberal Plan:
First, it was not created by us. Second, giving out the name will result in serious problems for the person who gave us the information. There are many reasons why someone would have problems with their name being giving out. 1) Last week the Spectator ran a story of an OPP officer who stated there was now Two Tier Justice in Caledonia. What do you think would happen if the newspaper printed the person's name? 2) What if our source is a senior person in Ontario Indian Affairs or a senior member of the OPP? 3) What would happen if our source was a resident living inside the so-called occupied area or even a Native on Six Nations land? Source Proof: I can assure people that the source would have direct knowledge of everything in this statement. We will be allowing the media to question our sources later today. [Update: Our Media connection assured us our source's name would be kept secret but after following up with them we learned they were going to phone each person named in the Liberal Plan and ask for their reply to the source. This is hardly keeping our source secret. - "Hello, biker gang, Mr. Bill Johnson of your gang told us you are involved in crime, do you have any statement to give". (member of Caledonia Alliance) [link] If we had released this information a month ago no one would have even paid attention, but as CH TV says during the interview - many of the things on our website have turned out to be true. It should be pointed out that Ken Hewitt claims there is no connection between the Caledonia Alliance and the Liberal Government and that they have recieved no financing from them. However, see pdf file which shows on page 15, paragraph 10 that the Alliance has received money from the $50,000 grant from the Liberal Government to town council - no other websites on Caledonia have received money. Also you should look at paragraph 11; the Caledonia Alliance would receive additional funding from the Contingency Fund. A request for funding had to be made to the Council to receive funding. Therefore, the Caledonia Alliance must have requested funding and received it, but according to Ken Hewitt's TV interview they have received no funding. |
