Our Take: Liberal Corruptions & Politics as Usual Aug 1, 2006

Faced with upholding the laws of our land or secretly buying off various people with taxpayer's money, the Liberal party has decided to follow their usual course of action.

Any friend to the Liberal Party, anyone who has publicly support McGuinty, will receive money. Anyone who has said anything against the current Government will be removed.

Mayor Marie Trainer who recently called Kwinter an idiot will be opposed in this year's November Municiple Elections. Lorraine Bergstrand will be backed by the Caledonia Alliance who believe they can control Bergstrand. The remaining Haldimand County Council, who have censured Marie Trainer, will receive Liberal support and a secret deal to pay for a Pool & Recreation Center.

The Natives walk away with thousands of acres of land plus millions of dollars and a future Casino. This is exactly what many have believed the protest was all about in the first place. Angry in the Great White North has been running a series of stories for the past 2 months about Ken Hill's involvment with the protest. His story today adds additional information to this whole protest. [link]

We are told that Ken Hill wanted to buy this exact same land years ago to develop into a Casino. He has provided a lot of financial support for the protest - in a few short months - he got the land out of the hands of Henco and into the weak-kneed Liberal Government.

The Liberal party will claim they never transfered ownership of the DCE land and instead will call it 'Economic Enterprise Center'. Leading into the 2007 election this will allow them to appear as if they didn't give into the Natives while already agreeing that this Center really is a CASINO. Millions of dollars of Profits going directly to the Confederate Chiefs and Haldimand council will buy them off.

What about the residents of the area? Do they want a casino, the traffic and the late nights? - Of course not. Have you seen anything in the past 5 months that shows the McGuinty Government cares what the residents think?

This secret agreement about the casino shouldn't surprise us. Our first clue was when David Peterson was sent to Caledonia. First, it became clear Peterson was willing to pay the Natives to stop committing criminal activities - 267 acres to bring down the illegal barricades. Second, in Feb. 2005 Peterson was appointed to Lead Talks with First Nations on New Framework for Sharing Gaming Revenue. [link] Peterson clearly understood the players in the casino game and knew the people who were financially backing the protest in Caledonia - Ken Hill. [link] "People have thanked him [Ken Hill] over the radio for bringing in the gravel and trucks that formed the barricade," said Chief Coun. David General. "They've alleged that he brought the tires, the pallets and the vehicles that were burned there and that it's his equipment that dug up Highway 6."

McGuinty has met with the Caledonia Alliance more than once. One look at their website shows just how liberal friendly they are. This group will also receive money to help stimulate the local economy. This will allow the residents to appreciate the Alliance and the great work they are doing. The Alliance will spearhead the replacement of the current mayor and to support liberal friendly councilors.

We cannot forget about all the crime. To date only 28 people have been charged. Part of the plan is to blame Gwen Boniface for everything and drop all criminal charges. We are not sure how easy that will be, but when you consider that only 28 people have been charged you can see that maybe the OPP have been delaying investigations and charges to simply let them fade away.

We started this website claiming 5000+ criminal charges have not been laid by the OPP. Apparently it now appears the Liberal Plan includes never laying these charges. We can say that the Natives have clearly stated that all criminal charges must be dropped before a settlement is reached.

We also should remember that today Gwen Boniface is in Caledonia having secret meetings only with hand picked residents. The MELT team has visited various residents in Caledonia in order to determined who Gwen will meet with.
