OPP Propaganda is Now Complete - Residents are now the Protestors

09 Aug 2006: OPP Press Release

INCIDENT COMMANDER CALLS FOR CALM

The Ontario Provincial Police responded to a large disturbance in front of the Douglas Creek Estates on Argyle St, S., Caledonia, Haldimand County.

Last night, August 8, 2006 protesters confronted First Nation occupiers at the main entrance of the Douglas Creek Estates.  During the confrontation, stones and pebbles were thrown, a water hose sprayed and insults hurled back and forth.  Fortunately there were no serious injuries reported.

Due to heightened tension, A/Supt Babbitt stresses “The behaviour of both sides last night is not helpful to the peace process and can reverse positive progress that has been made.”  Babbitt adds, “Behaviour of this kind is unacceptable and only sparks violent confrontations that make it impossible to reach a peaceful resolution in this land dispute.  Anger and violence will not resolve this situation.”

A/Supt Babbitt reinforces “That at this time, calm and common sense is paramount on all sides and negative behaviour should not be tolerated by any persons.”  The OPP is committed to working through this occupation to achieve a peaceful resolution and are asking everyone to do their part in committing to the peace process.

The residents are no longer the residents they are the PROTESTERS. We have been reporting how the OPP Press officers are doing nothing more than promoting Native Propaganda. Now the tables are reversed.

For all the media and Canadian citizens out there who don't follow the events in Caledonia the sudden change in who are the Protesters will not be noticed. This shouldn't surprise any one because it has been clear all along which side the OPP were on - and it isn't the side of law & order.

A/Supt Babbitt stresses, "That at this time, calm and common sense is paramount on all sides and negative behaviour should not be tolerated by any persons.” We all know what Babbitt is saying here, "Nothing from the residents, sorry Protesters, will be tolerated but the Six Nations Occupiers are free to do as they please.

Just how many Natives did the OPP arrest, handcuff and put in leg irons, this week - ZERO. Well you have it boys and girls, the Natives never do anything that Babbitt would call 'negative behaviour' or why else does he and all the other OPP continue to do nothing when the Natives commit crimes.

Just a question - is using a fire hydrant on people and police considered assault - I am sure it is.
