Just talk that I heard yesterday from a group of disgruntled OPP members who've had it up to the brim... its the apparent latest rumour circling the uniform cirlcle within the OPP.  As far as any payout she may have rec'd it will have to be disclosed in next years public servants over 100,000 club.  It does make sense if the Province bought out the 3yrs contract that she had just signed this past spring but could be very equivalent to the rumoured 600,000 payout.

Her pension will be 60% of her gross pay so approx 230,000 salary at 60% = 138,000 year PLUS full benefits.

The salary of 200.000 US for the GARDA position is rumour mill...not sure how you could confirm that all in all not a bad package.. maybe all the politicians involved in this are hoping to model a similar package. Jane Stewart seems to be on the same direction.

Rumour also has it that an number of persons that Gwen had promoted into positions of authority within the OPP over the past few years with absolutely no Policing experience (and there are MANY). Most of these civilians came from other ministries, i.e. finance, agriculture etc are very nervous as their positions maybe soon terminated with the leaving of Gwen B.

The rebuilding of this once respected and first rate Police Service will take a very long time and I just don't know if it is possible....the damage has been great, we have lost all standing with the people we served.  Gwen reduced this force to a bunch of tree hugging, baby kissing, politically correct cowards that have absolutely no backing of our employer or the gov't.
