To show how important this site is to the people living on Thistlemoor and Braemar five women decided they would send us a message of hope and support. One of the women emailed us and stated, "Gary, I need you and Christine to know that your work is not in vain, we need you.  Tonight's little event was for you guys...we need to stand up. If 5 women can make such an impact statement then think what a whole community can do."

What did five women do that could send such a message of hope and support to us and the people of Caledonia, of Ontario and Canada?

Quite simply they walked down to the DCE land last night and sat in lawn chairs having a smoke on the so-called native land. The Natives and OPP went nuts. No one was harmed - they just sat there talking and having a smoke on 'Provincial Land'. About 60 OPP officers showed up and arrested one of the women. She refused to get up from her lawnchair and leave - so the OPP carried her in her chair back within the so called no-man zone. The following is their account:

"Tonight 4 friends and I took our lawnchairs and peacefully sat on Douglas Creek Estates.  We chatted with each other....we were asked to leave by the OPP, we refused citing we were peacefully sitting on provincial land visiting with each other.  Approximately 60 opp came, we were removed.  Video tape was taken of this event by many citizens. xxxx xxxx is going to email you all the info...we got all the cops names and badge numbers "

From my wife Christine and myself, we say thank you for your actions of encouragement that Canadians WILL STAND AGAINST the corruptions of the OPP & McGuinty's Government.

Please Note: This is the first time the OPP has entered DCE land since mid-April. With all the crimes and violence that Natives have done over the months the OPP has refused to arrest a single native on DCE land. It now appears the OPP CAN enter DCE land, even though the OPP have repeatedly told everyone they cannot, when such a serious crime is being committed.

The OPP racial profiling of these 5 Women to determine that they were not Native was enough to get them to act. Five Women sitting on Lawn Chairs is completely unacceptable to the OPP.

Why send in 53 OPP officers - did they think these women would turn violent? Do you think they believe the Natives could turn violent? Which is it?

But the real message is to the OPP - your Pro-Native Propaganda is known to all - no one trusts your B.S. or your ability to uphold the law and to resolve this issue.

The message to McGuinty is that if you think the Natives will set the agenda in the future you are mistaken. If you think you can turn Caledonia into the next Ipperwash then you are mistaken. If you think the people of Caledonia and Ontario are going to sit back for the next 6 months or even two weeks while you B.S. us into believing you have everything under control then you are mistaken.

No longer will the residents just wait until the Natives wake them up at 1:00 am. Nights of intimidation and fear are now over. No longer will Natives lay claim to this land - if owned by the Province then every single citizen in this province has a right to enter the DCE land - we are the ones who paid for this land through our taxes and we will be the ones to use it at will.

If I could I would change this site's name to McGuintyWakeUpCall because your time is up. We, the people of Ontario, no longer trust your negotiations, no longer believe your B.S. and no longer will sit back and allow you to Subvert the very democracy so many people have died to defend.
