Just another Example of Two Tier Policing Aug. 7, 2006
On Sunday night, Aug. 6, 2006, from 10:00 p.m. to about 3 a.m. the Natives in Caledonia harassed the residents of Thristlemoor.

Reports of Native build up were coming to us throughout Sunday. By Sunday night the Natives created large bond fires and started to throw rocks and metal items like nuts & bolts. The OPPĀ Riot Police showed up about 2:00 a.m. and for the first time faced the Natives.

Local News Reporters visited the area early today and found the home of a 89 year old man had been damaged. There were holes in his aluminum siding. The Natives had targeted this WWII Vet's home throughout the night.

Residents were also hit by flying rocks from the Natives. The OPP also reported that vehicles were damaged.

Where were the police you may ask... well... they did what they have done for months? They stood there and did nothing. What help did the OPP provide to this 92 year old vet... well... none?

At one point the Mayor wanted to speak to the Natives to try to get them to stop but the OPP stopped the Mayor from speaking to the Natives. It should also be pointed out that since Friday the OPP had been stopping resident's cars from driving to the end of Thistlemoor. Their check point was designed to stop residents from screaming at the Natives - so the OPP say.

We can conclude once again that the OPP had no problem setting up check points to stop residents and had no problem stopping the Mayor, but did nothing to stop Natives who were assaulting people and damaging property.

It appears the OPP are doing the Bidding of the Natives. Anything that bugs them is acted upon and any CRIMES commited by them receive no action.
