At my Town Hall meeting in Caledonia today the OPP provided officers outside to ensure public safety.

Tim Sywyk, who goes by the name Timmer, is a non-Native person who lives in Brantford. He is in Caledonia so much that he should just move there.

You wouldn't even know that this "outsider" was even in Caledonia since the Mayor, McGuinty and the OPP fail to talk about all the people who come to Caledonia to help out the Native Protesters. You would think the only "outsider" who ever goes to Caledonia was Gary McHale.

It is quite interesting to read the list of who has been charged from the Native side and see just where they are from. You would think the Mayor, McGuinty and the OPP would spend their time talking about the "outsiders" who have already been charged with criminal acts instead of Gary McHale, the "outsider", who has broken no laws.

Several of the Natives that were arrested at Grassy Narrows, near Kenora, were from Six Nations which only show that it appears okay for Native people to travel around helping in protests and no one will call them "outsiders".

The OPP today demonstrated that they are aware of certain people on the pro-Native side who come into town just to create a problem so they can video tape it. Timmer is one who has more than once wilfully walked among the residents of Caledonia, with his video camera, while confronting people.

I first saw Timmer on Dec. 16th - he was out in Brantford but I didn't notice him. On the 16th. Timmer was walking around at the Canadian Tire having arguments with people while holding his video camera down at his side - clearly video taping people's responses.

I walked over to him when I heard him arguing with someone and he started to swear at the person. I stepped in between Timmer (and his camera) and the people he was trying to get a response from.

At the time I couldn't understand why the OPP allowed pro-Native people to walk from the DCE area to where the residents were and start arguments. Clearly no resident would be allowed anywhere near the DCE area even without any argument taking place.

I spoke to the OPP about Timmer on Dec. 16th and about how he carries his video camera and starts arguments to get a video he can post claiming that he got another example of KKKaledonia.

Today the OPP stopped Timmer before he came into my Town Hall meeting. I am sure they gave him clear instructions that I had complete authority to have him removed for any reason and that trespassing charges would be laid if problems occurred.

Timmer was an angel - never said a single word.

There is a video on YouTube showing the OPP walking Timmer away from Canadian Tire back to DCE land so this is not the first time Timmer has had a run-in with the OPP.

As I left today's meeting, Timmer stopped his car to take the photo of the licence plate of the car I got into. Just who was he going to give this licence plate number to and why is a mystery. One reporter earlier had tried to get Timmer to give his real name since he was walking around like "a secret agent" taking photos – reporter's words not mine. Timmer refused to give the reporter his name.

This meeting was very peaceful and you can see how equality under the law can make all the difference. When one group believes the OPP will do nothing then they push the limits and when they find out there are no limits you get chaos.

I hope what we are seeing is the beginning of the end of Two Tier Justice.

Jan 20th is the real test for Fantino as to whether he truly believes there is "One Law for All".
