Fantino: You can run but you can't hide!

Yesterday, Fantino appeared at a secret meeting in Caledonia by invitation only to the Rotary club. [Link]

Commissioner Fantino has done his best to hide from answering any questions related to Canadian Flags in Caledonia. On radio, Fantino completely switched away from Jamie West's question about why Canadian Flags are illegal. [Link]

Even when Fantino shows up to a secret meeting in Caledonia, where each person's name must be pre-approved before the meeting, he cannot hide from the fact that the OPP is policing with Two Tier Justice in Caledonia.

Below are three questions that were asked of Fantino at the meeting at the Rotary Club.
Three Questions for Fantino
1) The first question was, "Aren't the Natives subject to the Laws of Canada"? Fantino's answer was "Yes, but they don't think so".

2) Mr. Henning (the developer of Douglas Creek Estates - DCE) asked the second question. He asked, "In light of what has happened in Caledonia is the OPP going to get a new policy on how to handle Native occupation"? Fantino replied that the OPP policy will be adjusted when the Ipperwash Inquiry report comes out.

3) Jason Clark made a statement and asked the third question. Mr. Clark stated there was in fact Two Tier Justice in Caledonia then asked, "How can you leave Mohawk Flags up." Fantino stated that the OPP had no authority to remove any Flags.

Fantino on radio, TV and to newspaper reporters has so far refused to use my name while being interviewed. At this meeting Fantino openly used my name and stated that "Gary McHale" didn't come to town to honour our troops but to make the "OPP look like assholes".

Fantino clearly stated that the OPP has information that there would be a violent reaction if "Gary" was allowed to put up flags. This prompts the question of why the OPP doesn't arrest the people who it knows will react with violence.

Between the radio interview last week where Fantino was crying the 'blues' and the repeated crying that I called them 'assholes' shows that the OPP doesn't play the role of victim very well.

It is almost as if Fantino is saying, "I'm just trying to do my job and everyone keeps picking on me."

Fantino's new message to the media is that they are actively involved in arresting people in Caledonia but this is an 'OUTRIGHT' lie.

There have been 3 sets of arrests to date of Native people. First, from the OPP raid on DCE on April 20. Second, the arrests as a result of the crimes committed on June 9. Third, arrests resulting from the assault against an Officer prior to June 9 who refused to allow the charge to be dropped.

Outside of these three events the OPP has repreatedly stood by and watched many criminal acts without any arrest and not one of these investigations has lead to an arrest.

No arrest for destruction of the Power Station, burning the bridge, destroying vehicles, attacking media people (other than on June 9), digging up the highway, blocking emergency vehicles etc., etc.

Not one investigation has lead to any arrest from any of these events.
