Leaked Liberal Plan + 10 days
|
| Our little website has caused the Government a lot of problems. In one week the Government has done a Press Release to refute the plan. They have attacked our motives and character. McGuinty's office is punishing CHTV for reporting the news. Suddenly Gwen Boniface is holding secret meetings in Caledonia after 5 months of not being able the find the town on a map. Ontario's Senior Negotiator John Nolan meets with the public after 5 months of no one even hearing his name.
Not bad for a website started and operated by a husband and wife team. Allow me to say that we didn't create the Liberal Plan from various document facts that we have posted. It came to us by a source who would have direct knowledge of the events. It should not be seen that this Liberal Plan was ever written down as some sort of Government document - does anything think that Governments document their secret deals? It was written down by our source as they understood it. So where do we go from here? Well the following is purely my view based on all the research I have done and knowing how Political people work. First, I believe one reason the Natives have been building up over the last few days for a greater protest is because of what Mr. Ramsay said in his Press Release. He claimed we have created division in Caledonia. Well, in a way he is right. Not division amongst the people - unless anyone believes prior to us starting our website on June 11 everyone lived in harmony in Caledonia. The division we have created is between the Natives and the Government. You see the Natives knew they were getting their way. The Government had bought out part of the land and ordered an end to all construction - execpt Native construction of course, and had already agreed to given them 272 acres to get them to take down their illegal barricades. The Native Crime Spree had already netted them a cool profit. Then along came our website that exposed the B.S. we were being given by the Government and OPP media officers. The Leaked Liberal Plan told the public that the Government were about to hand over thousands of acres more, pay off the Natives by building a casino and reward their liberal friend residents with cash and political power. Each of these items can be proven from documents within the Government - all have been posted here. How does the Government now give over the land or build a casino without admitting the leaked plan was truthful? This is where real politics, the backroom politics, comes into play. How do you discredit the leaked plan while keeping peace with the Natives who you have lead to believe are going to get everything they want? Regarding the land transfer, it is almost impossible for the Government to get around. They released a list of land up for grabs on April 17, 2006 and so most of the land deal in the leaked plan will go ahead - maybe something will be substituted for the Port Maitland property. Regarding the casino: The casino never made a lot of sense to us. There already are casinos in the area and there are only so many people willing to gamble at the local casino. However, both the Ontario Government and Native Leaders have been working hard for 18 months to increase Native profits from casinos, so I believe the Ontario Government will still move ahead and build a casino. It won't be on the DCE property because that would only prove we were right. Logic would say that the new casino will be built outside the town by the highway bypass. Easier for traffic, away from DCE property and most people will not have to see it on a daily basis. The following is just our opinion, but based on RCMP reports, Six Nations Police statements, MPPÂ Toby Barrett's speeches at Queen's Park, etc., there is a growing organized criminal element at Six Nations. One of the primary needs of such criminal elements is a means to launder their money. Although I do not believe anyone in the Ontario Government is knowingly agreeing to building a casino to allow money to be laundered, I am saying no one will question why another casino is needed. There are many forces behind the so-called land claim - a claim that both the Federal and Provincial Governments know is not valid. Let's face it, the only interest most politicians have is how to get re-elected and to look good. Although we think McGuinty looks bad through all of this, he is banking on the belief that most of Ontario were not paying attention to Caledonia, until we came along, and that most people would praise him for ending the whole thing without anyone being killed. Something McGuinty will be sure to point out that Harris was unable to do. Therefore, any price is acceptable to politicians who know it is taxpayers money, not theirs. As long as no one is killed, McGunity and Gwen Boniface can proclaim themselves great leaders. Whether people are assaulted and property is destroyed.. well... Caledonia is only a small town, just how many votes are there to be had? Does anyone believe this would have been allowed to happen in Toronto? |
