Within a Seven day period last week there suddenly appeared to be a new approach to how to attack my site and my efforts to draw attention to what has been happening in Caledonia & Ipperwash.

I, like most people, need to understand that there are real people with real power & money who stand to lose a lot if the media attention continues in Caledonia. We can understand that people like McGuinty, Ramsay and the Liberal party wouldn't like the media attention to continue because they are already in election mode for this year.

One of the few things I can agree on with McGuinty is a statement he made about a month ago when he stated that politics is a "Full Contact Sport". We all know that politicians can play some dirty tricks during elections but we don't often think about what politicians are prepared to do behind closed doors.

Also we can understand that many of the key players from the Native side would not be too happy to have the media attention continue in Caledonia. It was fine that the protesters used the media for 7 months to get their message out but now they don't want the public to remember the destruction of the Power Station, attacking of seniors, assaulting of media people, assault on US agents, attempted murder of OPP officer and endless intimidation & harassment of residents.

These things were done to send a message to the politicians that the protesters were willing to use extreme force to get their way. Now that McGuinty is kissing their butts they don't want the media involved. It is too embarrassing for negotiations for McGuinty to be reminded of all the demands he has made, which the Natives have laughed at each one, while all along McGuinty really knew his demands were meaningless.

The OPP clearly want the spotlight off them. My involvement in Caledonia has primarily been focused on the OPP and since I started back in June the OPP has become the number one target in the media. Little is talked about in the media about land claims or 200 years of abuses because almost all media is now focused on Law & Order and the failure of the OPP & McGuinty to maintain it.

The people of Ipperwash have been reporting for months that after 15 years of OPP Two Tier Justice in their town they can clearly testify that the OPP will use every means possible to silence any opposition, any voice that attempts to speak out. They have reported that OPP will slander people, divide families, create an atmosphere of intimidation, falsely arrest residents and completely fail at their duties to residents.

To further the OPP's shame they have started not just to report on crimes in their Press Release but to editorialize them. They now pass judgement on residents about their character and their motives.

Then Lawyers for individual officers are upset that their photos appear on my site with statements about them refusing to follow their Oath of Office and refusing to uphold the Charter of Rights.

We have seen these attacks before but clearly these people are trying their best to shut down any Free Speech, any Free Expression that draws attention to them.

However, new attacks are also suddenly appearing and we should expect more.

The Owner of the Forum 49th Parallel banned me from his site because he claims I have threatened Mayor Trainer. Of course when someone hears something like this they think that I must have said something to threaten physical harm to the Mayor. Well, you would be wrong. It appears that I said to someone that I would work to ensure the Mayor was not re-elected in the next election - 4 years from now. This is called POLITICS. The Owner of the 49th Parallel claims this is crossing the line and therefore banned me for threatening the Mayor.

Here are a few postings from SkyWoman on the Native Reclamation site as he tries to apologize to people for how he has attacked them.

"To Timmer: McHale was worried about the video cartoons. And then apparantly the Nazi... It was wrong and stupid. It only made matters worse. I cannot apologize enough to correct the wrong I did to you and your wife. "

A man who goes by ED had been harshly treated by SkyWoman and falsely accused by SkyWoman as a creater of a 'White Supremacist' site asked SkyWoman the following, "Try clearing my name too. McHale has said he doesn't believe it was me who created that racist 88 site but I do remember you yelling a lot saying it was me." SkyWoman replied, "Ed: I'll do my best to get this thing cleaned up for you."

SkyWoman admits that the OPP is happy that he is working to shut me down.

"I was commended by the OPP for getting Gary's propaganda machine shut down on the 49th... All together, DCE will be successful if you can just not allow McHale to make the occupation about him. I hope the OPP can keep him out of Caledonia. "

The methods of SkyWoman have not changed. He has always been willing to slander people without any proof, always willing to attack the person simply because they don't share his views. What has changed is SkyWoman now decided he should be attacking me and not some of the people on the pro-Native side.

Why the sudden change? Here is what SkyWoman states, "What has changed is the 2 tier view of McHale. What does raising a flag in Caledonia have to do with 2 tier. Nothing. It's provoking instability in Caledonia and at DCE. "

To SkyWoman my view of Two Tier Justice is unacceptable. He cannot see that the OPP allows Natives to put up Flags while arresting and imprisoning non-Natives for putting up Canadian Flags.

There are three reasons the Flags are so important. First, no crime is committed by either side in simply putting up a flag therefore, why are the police involved? Second, it is a perfect example for all Canadians to see that the OPP have a double standard. Third, when did the OPP have the authority to make the Canadian Flag illegal?

I am sorry that SkyWoman cannot see this double standard but I guess once he doesn't agree with you then he does what SkyWoman always does - attack your character, claim you have done some great wrong and provide no evidence to support his B.S.

But the new Threat comes from sources you don't expect to say the things you hear them saying. A new level of attack against Free Speech is now in the works. The Mayor stated the OPP should arrest me after we have heard our elected officials stating numerous times they cannot instruction the OPP in any way.

Suddenly there is the willingness of the OPP to illegally hold a person overnight as a means to intimidate. It is a criminal offense to "falsely imprison" a person in Canada so we see that the OPP now has decided to violate the criminal code to end Free Speech. We clearly see that the OPP Press Releases are now in character attack mode against residents. The OPP would never call a Native person 'Juvenile" but they have no problem calling residents 'Juvenile".

What appears to be independent sources of attack, 49th Parallel & SkyWoman, we see now are closely connected to each other. The owner of the 49th Parallel emailed me and told me SkyWoman is the one supplying him the information on which he based his decision to ban me - for threats to the Mayor.

SkyWoman appears to state that he is working in connection with the OPP - with their approval. The OPP is happy that SkyWoman is trying to shut me down.
