Eveyone has watched as the OPP continues to enforce Two Tier Justice in Caledonia. The President of the OPPA was the first to use this phrase back on June 6, 2006 but since then the Mayor, MPP Toby Barrett, OPP Officers and residents of Caledonia have all made the same statement.

This Two Tier Justice is a violation of an Officer's Oath of Office and a violation of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

However, the OPP have started a new attack upon Canadian Citizens by illegally imprisoning people who disagree with their political views. The OPP have for months been arresting Canadians under their false claim of "preventing a Breach of the Peace".

A woman having a coffee in a lawn chair on July 28th was arrested on "preventing a Breach of the Peace". The Phrase 'Preventing" is never included in press releases or news stories because the OPP want people to believe that somehow the 'Peace' was already 'Breached'.

However, when they were reading me my rights at the jail the officer asked the arresting officer twice what the arrest was for. The reply, "to prevent a Breach of Peace". It is the opinion of the officer that a "Breach of Peace" may occur so they arrest people before the Breach occurrs. That is why everyone is released after a few hours - they have no legal right to keep people longer.

It serves no legal purpose to have someone appear before a Judge when you know you have no charges against the person. Our courts are far too busy for the OPP to be using them to delay releasing me. The OPP told my wife to go to Hamilton to the court house. She and residents of Caledonia drove into Hamilton for the court appearance. They were told three times by the OPP that there were no charges against me.

The OPP had no reason to bring me before a Judge. They had no legal reason to keep me overnight and make me appear before a Judge. In fact it is a criminal offense for the OPP to act the way they did.

Hello Gary and Christine:

I realized a few weeks ago when I tried to warn you about some of us being more afraid of the OPP than the natives, it was almost impossible for you to understand what I meant. I am so sorry that your safety has been so grossly compromised by those who are supposed to protect you.

As I stated Police will use any methods including disinformation, lying, intimidation by name calling, and putting you negatively in the public eye. Justice has nothing to do with it. For the Police, the end justifies the means.

My own lawyer said that police can be most vindictive when the group is threatened by their so-called public image. I was advised by my lawyer to carry a tape recorder to be played each time an officer stopped us. Their tactics are frustrating in that the mix up of their statements keeps the public in constant confusion.

Batten down the hatches buddy, it is going to get a lot worse.
