Whatever it means, McGuinty had to determine the public mood told him there was a growing movement to support the March. Therefore, suddenly the Government was forced to deal with the March. Since the Government accepted the March was real the OPP had to also act as if the March was real - meaning that they finally were willing to meet to talk about the March so that both sides knew what was happening.

At 11:00 on Thursday I met with Inspector McLean to go over the details and I provided him with two plans.

1st plan was to use buses to move people around town so people could see what I call the 'crime scenes'. No one would get off the buses, but the bus would stop at each location and a speaker would tell the people what happened and how the OPP handled it. The buses would then drop people off at the location for the speeches. No Marching to DCE land would take place.

2nd plan was for us to agree not to enter DCE, but we would March up to the front gate with the OPP lined up inside the 100ft no go zone. A single person would then approach the OPP with a rose for the photo op and then we would turn around and leave. Speeches would then be held by the Lions Hall.

Both of these plans were rejected by the OPP. After a lot of talking Thursday night, a 3rd plan was created and the OPP is to reply, hopefully by noon on Friday, Oct. 13.

We will have petitions for people to sign and speeches. Five speakers will speak:

2) Native Owner of NY Crimewatch

3) A resident of Caledonia

4) A resident of Ipperwash

5) Gary McHale

At approx. 3:00 PM we will then March to.... (waiting for OPP)
