Ken Hewitt is running as a Liberal - Anyone Surprised? |

According to the Hamilton Spectator today, Mr. Ken Hewitt is running to be the Liberal MP for the riding. He hopes to defeat Diane Finley. Who could have thought that Mr. Hewitt would be a great Liberal supporter? Well, anyone who has been reading this site would have first hand proof that Mr. Hewitt has been working to support McGuinty and the Liberals. I have known that Mr. Hewitt was going to be running as a Liberal MP for about 4 months and I guess my Leaked Liberal Plan which claimed the good old boys - Mr. Ken Hewitt, Ralph Lumies and Jason Clark were working on behalf of the Liberal party to keep the Town under Control gets another piece of evidence to show just how true the Liberal Plan was. The source of the information for the Leaked Liberal Plan was Jason Clark - very reliable source about how the good old boys believed they had everything under control and were playing the political game quite well. [Listen to Hewitt Interview on CHTV from Aug. 1 where Hewitt claims to have not receive money (now or in the future) and that he has no affiliation with the Liberals or Conservatives] Mr. Hewitt who is currently being sued by John Findley for his slanderous statement back in July as the Alliance, working for McGuinty, did what they could to destroy the Class Action Lawsuit. Mr. Hewitt signed up for the council elections but dropped out for bigger fish (Federal) when I was told that Federal Liberals had agreed to financially support Mr. Hewitt. Let me be clear - a Liberal Mr. Hewitt, a strong supporter of McGuinty Liberals, will do far better for Caledonia than Diane Finley. Can you imagine the marching orders Mr. Hewitt will have as a Liberal to be the biggest pain in the ass for Harper. Of course if the Liberals win the Federal Election Mr. Hewitt will be as silent as Diane Finley. People asked why outsiders needed to get involved. Mr. Hewitt is proof why it was necessary. Mr. Hewitt and the Alliance, which by the way only had 12 members, presented itself as some great big local support group (THE ALLIANCE) that claimed to fight for the people of Caledonia. In fact, it was always about a few business owners who wanted to ensure they got a piece of the pie. In fact, McGuinty agreed to a business support package (something Ipperwash has never received) as a way to show that the Alliance was an important group. Notice how the resident support package has never come. Since then the Alliance has had many secret meetings with the Liberal Party leadership (MPs) and has done everything it could to ensure that there was no strong voice against McGuinty - just check out their web site. [www.caledoniacitizensalliance.com] It is truly unfortunate that Caledonia doesn't have any real leadership that is willing to put the residents first instead of their own party interests (other than Toby Barrett). But since the choices will be either Hewitt or Finley then Mr. Hewitt wins hands down in my book. A McGuinty Liberal voice as Federal MP may be what will keep the pressure on the Federal Conservatives. It should be an interesting election. |
