Ken Hewitt is the self-proclaimed spokesperson for the people of Caledonia as he is the spokesperson for the Caledonia McGuinty Alliance. As a future McGuinty wanna-be Mr. Hewitt appears to be taking lessons on how to Flip Flop from the Best - McGuinty himself.

Just a few weeks ago Mr. Hewitt announced and signed up to run for council in Haldimand county - ward 3. Just last week Mr. Hewitt suddenly changed his mind and dropped out of the race.

We have seen Mr. Hewitt claim to support Judge Marshall and our court system while helping to appeal Judge Marshall's decision. At one moment the "Rule of Law" is important to Mr. Hewitt while the next day he supports McGuinty & OPP to discredit Judge Marshall.

Mr. Hewitt was publicly against the Rally at Queens Park a few months back. However, Mr. Hewitt suddenly bacomes the spokesperson for this same Rally. Mr. Hewitt, Ralph Luimes, Jason Clark spent the previous night in Toronto and had private meetings with Government Ministers and just happened to come out to be the spokesperson for all of Caledonia and the rally.

Also of particular note is that Mr. Hewitt is the only person, other than McGuinty, OPP and Natives, that appear to be against the March for Freedom itself. Many are against the location, but few are against the idea of a March or that the cause is justified. The Mayor and John Tory have both stated they want the March in a different location but Mr. Hewitt doesn't want the March at all - just like McGuinty.

What I find interesting is that Mr. Hewitt called for the exact same thing back in April. It was Ken Hewitt who called for a rally on DCE land (yes, he called it to be on DCE land) but the County got him to switch it to the fairgrounds.

We shoud remember that Ken Hewitt was able, in 5 days, to get a permit and free insurance for this rally from the county. We should also remember that this rally resulted in a riot.

To date I have not heard anyone calling for Mr. Hewitt to cover any expenses for this riot or hold him accountable for calling a rally that resulted in a riot. To date I have not seen the OPP or McGuinty make any statement against Mr. Hewitt for calling for a rally on DCE land and for the fact that it resulted in a riot.

However, what is most surprising is that Mr. Hewitt believes it was okay when he called for a rally on DCE land, but now believes that anyone else who calls for one is wrong.
