Fantino was known as a tough cop but you wouldn't know it by his actions.

Back in December I faxed Mr. Fantino and told him that if he had a Town Hall Meeting in Caledonia and explained why Native Flags were legal while Canadian Flags were illegal then I would not go to Caledonia on Jan. 20th.

You would think he would jump at the chance to shut me down and end all this Flag talk, but then again it is clear the OPP has no answer so how does he face the People of Caledonia?

Instead of 'Open & Honest Dialogue' with the community (as promised by the OPP Web site), Fantino had a secret meeting with the Rotary Club at a location that was not given out to the public or media. The names of the people who wanted to attend had to be pre-approved. [Link]

Fantino was invited to the Town Hall Meeting on Jan. 14th where I did a 1.5 hour presentation about what I have done and what was to happen next. Mr. Fantino was a no show.

What Mr. Fantino did was to do many interviews in which he sounded like he was a 5 year old child whining about people picking on him. He talked as if he was helpless and powerless over everything. Clearly a man who was not presenting the idea that he was the Head Cop in Ontario.
On Sat. Jan. 20th we learned that Fantino was at the OPP Unity Rd command centre. Reporters were already at Unity Rd talking to someone so I decided to try to get some answers.

You can clearly hear that the OPP have no answers as to why Native Flags are legal while Canadian Flags are illegal. You can clearly hear that the OPP have no answers to why I cannot put up a Flag. Furthermore, you can clearly hear that the OPP have no criteria for who will be arrested for putting up a Canadian Flag other than their race. [audio clip]

Also, it is clear that no OPP Brass is willing to speak to anyone from Caledonia about why the OPP can arrest someone for putting up a Canadian Flag while allowing Natives to put up a Canadian Flag.

As I questioned the OPP in front of Unity Rd, there were about 20 OPP standing around to ensure no one got into the building, we could see Fantino hiding by the door and refusing to speak to the residents.

Fantino is truly ashamed to show his face and a coward for refusing for 4 weeks now to speak to the People of Caledonia. He cannot explain why he believes he can disobey the Supreme Court of Canada, why he can arrest non-Natives for actions that his officers allow Natives to do and he refuses to uphold the Criminal Code of Canada.
