Our New Crest - Freedom & Justice for All |
Feb. 10, 2007 This web site was created based on the fundamental belief that all people are Equal, all people are to be respected and all people are subject to the same Justice - We are all equal under the Law. In keeping with this belief we have created a Crest to represent this Equality and the Freedom that comes to all people when Justice is applied equally to all people. The root cause of problems historically and currently in Caledonia is that the Government claims to Rule with Equality but in fact Two Tier Justice has been around for hundreds of Years. The Government failed in the past to treat all people equally and the solution for historical abuses cannot be to create a new Two Tier Justice to make amends. We Stand for Truth, Justice and Equality - Racism and Two Tier Systems must be rejected by All People of Moral Conscience. |

| Our Crest:
Three Founding Nations - British, First Nations and French (in order of how they appear in Crest) These images represting these three Nations appear, in part, on the Coat of Arms for various Provinces and the Coat of Arms of Canada. Clearly the Canadian Government has historically accepted the important contribution to Canada that each have made. Justice is Blind image stands as a sheld in front of the images of three founding Nations. For Justice to be true Justice it requires Equality which requires that Justice be blind to Race, Religion, Skin Colour etc. True Justice is the Legal System that is applied and enforced regardless of who stands before it. Only when Justice is Blind is it a Shield against abuses, against racism and against the misuse of power. There must be only One Set of Laws for all people for Equality and true Freedom to exist. The Motto - Canada's motto "A Mari usque ad Mare" (From sea to sea) is based on biblical scripture: "He shall have dominion from sea to sea and from the river unto the ends of the earth (Psalm 72:8)". The first official use of this motto came in 1906 when it was engraved on the head of the mace of the Legislative Assembly of the new Province of Saskatchewan. The wording of the motto came to the attention of Sir Joseph Pope, then Under Secretary of State, who was impressed with its meaning. He later proposed it as motto for the new design of the Canadian coat of arms, which was approved by Order in Council on April 21, 1921 and by Royal Proclamation on November 21, 1921. The Ribbon - On the advice of the Prime Minister of Canada, Her Majesty The Queen approved, on July 12, 1994 that the arms of Canada be augmented with a ribbon with the motto of the Order of Canada: "Desiderantes Meliorem Patriam". (They desire a better country). Summary - Three Founding Nations governed by One Law from Sea to Sea and desiring to build a better country. |
