Is Belinda a Dog or is the whole Liberal Party gone to the Dogs

Oct 25, 2006

With all the problems facing the Country one has to ask what are our Federal Politicial Leaders doing in Ottawa. My riding is held by Bryon Wilfert who is a Liberal MP.

Do we not have soldiers in Afganistan? Do we not have an Accountability Act to pass? Do we not have pressing issues regarding Native Land Claims, quality of drinking water, the environment, etc.?

Would you be surprised to hear that not one Liberal in Ottawa has asked a single question of the Harper Government regarding Caledonia? You would think that time is valuable in Ottawa and that each quesiton is important for the public interest.

What we have seen is that for one week the Liberals have talked about whether Belinda has been called a dog - great public need here folks. Stop the presses, the end of the world as we know it just occurred.

It is not that I support this childish name calling by our MPs, but the reality is that our elected officals endlessly call each other names to get a rise out of someone. They are like two year olds who cannot share and constantly fight over the last cookie.

We have seen it far too many times, but once again the most important thing for the Liberals today is whether Belinda is emotionally trumatized by this name calling. With all the problems facing the country the self-rightous Liberals parade out their female MPs in an attempt to show Canadians just how serious calling Belinda a Dog is.

The Global & Mail does a 3 page story on Belinda's sex life - who cares? [Link] The two murders in Ipperwash didn't even get half a page. The fact the OPP failed to investigate these murders doesn't even get covered. But I guess somehow, knowing the number of hockey players Belinda has slept with, is of National importance.

Move on people, you are wasting our money talking about whether Belinda is a Dog - doesn't parliament have better things to do?

Here is a suggestion, why not tell us what you would do to help the residents of Ipperwash & Caledonia if you were elected next year.
