Wacko - Juvenile - Bad Cold |
| Jan 10, 2007
You would think that people who have risen to the position of Premier of Ontario or OPP Commissioner would not resort to name calling as their means of attack. Listen to the reaction of our Government and the OPP and you have to wonder just how childish you can get while holding an important public position. It is certainly true that if you have no logical argument for your position then name calling is the only thing you can do. First, we had David Peterson calling me a Wacko back in late September. He claimed that no one would listen to me and show up to the March for Freedom on Oct. 15th. Clearly he was wrong and clearly the childish name calling is something the ex-Premier was willing to do - maybe the fact that Ontarians dumped him so quickly has left a bitter taste in his mouth for anyone in Ontario who would stand up and hold people like him accountable. Second, we had an OPP Press Release calling residents in Caledonia Juvenile. You would think that an offical Press Release from the OPP would talk about what crimes were committed, the time, the place etc. But I guess the OPP are running so scared that 'Open & Honest Dialogue' is no longer an option for them so name calling is. Third, we have OPP Commissioner Fantino calling me a 'Bad Cold' in the Spectator today. To date Fantino has refused to explain to the People of Caledonia and Ontario why Native Flags are legal while Canadian Flags are illegal. To date Fantino has refused to have 'Open & Honest Dialogue' with the community that he is policing. The OPP web site promises to have such dialogue but it appears not to be in Fantino's job description. What does appear to be in the Commissioner's job description is 'name calling'. Throw logic out the window along with the Criminal Code, the Supreme Court Ruling, our Charter of Rights & Freedoms and the OPP Oath of Office and all you are left with is 'name calling'. Fantino claims the OPP has intelligence that shows any raising of the Canadian Flag in Caledonia will result in violence. To date, of course, there has been no violent reaction to Warrior Flags being up for the past two months. I don't think Fantino is saying that some resident of Caledonia is going to be driving down the road and whe he sees the Canadian Flag on a hydro pole will turn violent. Therefore, the OPP are admitting that their intelligence tells them that Native protesters will turn violent if people raise the Canadian Flag. Policing by the OPP is determined not by the Criminal Code of Canada, not by our Constitution, not by Supreme Court Rulings or by their Oath of Office. It is dictaded to them by the threat of violence by Native protesters. In a public meeting on the reserve the Government was directly told that any attempts against DCE would be met with 'a body count'. [Link] Native Chiefs across Canada have publicly supported the continued use of violent criminal acts against the People of Canada if the OPP take any action against the Natives on DCE. [Link] Many Natives believe they are above the law. [Link][video] Even today Natives in Deseronto threaten the OPP with Violence is they move in on them. [Link] The Only thing Fantino has is Name Calling - he has been made quite Impotent. |
