Now we see that Natives across Canada are telling us, are threatening us, with direct terrorist actions throughout Canada. Will the Federal Government step in and protect Canadians from this Terrorist Threat - it appears not?

The photo to the right is from a rally in Toronto on Saturday Aug. 12, 2006 where you can see the well known Terrorist leader's (Hasan Nazrallah) photo and right behind it is a Mohawk Warrior flag. Under the warrior flag is a flag of Hezbollah with yellow and green. (see below right for whole flag)

Foreign Minister Peter MacKay said that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization that is like a "cancer" destroying democracy in Lebanon and made it clear that the Canadian government blames Hezbollah for the current conflict with Israel. He told Opposition MPs that "Canada cannot be neutral on fundamental issues" and that is why the Conservative government condemns Hezbollah as a terrorist group that attacked a democracy

The yellow flag of Hezbollah could be seen everywhere; across the top is a quotation from the Koran, from which Hezbollah took its name—"Verily the party of God shall be victorious"—and at the center is an AK-47 in silhouette, in the hand of the Shiite martyr Husayn, a cousin of the Prophet Muhammad. In the background is a depiction of the globe, suggesting Hezbollah's role in the worldwide umma, or community of Muslims. Along the bottom of the Hezbollah flag is written "The Islamic Revolution in Lebanon."

The Natives are sending a clear message with this unusal destruction of our national symbol and repeating it with your own flag. Canadians are loved around the world for being peaceful.

NON-NATIVE SUPPORTERS STAND WITH THE SIX NATIONS

As non-native, multiracial groups in Coast Salish Territories/ Vancouver,  we extend our solidarity to the Six Nations Community in Caledonia,  Ontario and condemn the police violence and criminalization of the  community who are standing for their rights. The racist colonial legacy of Canada continues to devastate the lands and lives of indigenous peoples and as non-native supporters, we affirm our solidarity with the Six Nations community in calling for immediate end to construction by Henco Industries; a withdrawal of OPP and enforcement forces; and for a just resolution as determined by the clan mothers.

It now appears that the Warriors, who were called in to help out in Caledonia back in March, have the same lawyers as terrorist groups. Stanley Cohen and Lynne Stewart have a long history of justifying violent behaviour as the means to political ends. It should not therefore surprise anyone that the Warriors would seek legal advice from people who justify and promote outright killing and terrorist activities.

Stanley Cohen: "People have a right to resist occupation . . . It is often a nasty, dirty and painful experience...Israel is a "terrorist state," he says. Palestinians have no choice but to attack Israelis "by any means necessary," he says. Yes, that includes suicide bombings." [link]

For more than a decade, Cohen has served as counsel for the Warrior Society of the Mohawk Nation in Northern New York and Canada, a traditional Indian movement which has been in the forefront of the struggle for indigenous self determination, self defense and sovereignty. Since the mid-nineties he has served as an advisor and counsel to numerous mosques and Islamic organizations. He is widely known as an outspoken advocate for the rights of Palestinians in their efforts to reclaim their State and has long been identified as one of the most ardent critics of United States policy towards Muslims at home and abroad. Usually he's alone, although he has a long-term relationship with a Mohawk woman who visits him from the reservation in Upstate New York...

Cohen narrates a quick tour of the run-ins where he made his name: "There's a picture of me being dragged away at a Tompkins Square demonstration. . . . The 13th Street squatters case, a big battle. . . . Bill Kunstler and I in the early days with the Mohawks in Quebec . . . sedition, possession of weapons and riot . . . the Red Squad in New Rochelle . . . fun memories."

"I've been arrested on a good number of occasions – it comes with the turf – both before being a lawyer and since being a lawyer. But, as we say, inshallah" – Allah willing – "my record is perfect."

...His walls are a shrine to his public persona: lacquered, mounted news clippings about cases of yore. "Defending Larry Davis" – that headline refers to a client who wounded nine police officers in a shootout. "Inside the Mohawk Civil War": a Village Voice cover about militant Indians who ended up going to war with Canada in 1990.

"I just sent out for framing 30 new stories and pictures," Cohen boasts. Of course the displays are strictly for the entertainment of clients, he says.

Cohen says, "I'm a pig. I'm a self-hating Jew. I'm a communist... I hate my mother. I hate my father. I hate my dead great-grandparents."

Can you imagine asking these legal advisers whether burning down a bridge, attacking a power station, digging up the highway, attacking camera crews, assaulting residents or attempted murder were legally justified for your land claim?

Isn't it surprising how the Warriors & Hezbollah have the same lawyers??
