When your husband is Doug Finley, National Director of Political Operations, and one Garth Turner calls the supreme commander, it is fair to say that every detail of your public image is well controlled. When you are the National Director of Political Operations you didn't get into politics yesterday and you surely are not naive about the little messages that you can send through your presentation. So why is Diane Finley's website the only Conservative website in Ontario (didn't check the others across Canada) which has RED as the base colour? What message is Doug Finley trying to send to voters about who Diane is and what she stands for. By looking at the 3 major Federal Parties, which one is Diane Finley saying she shares the same values with? . |

Everything in politics is well planned out, especialy if your husband is the National Director of Political Operations.
Maybe the reason Diane hasn't helped out the people of Caledonia is because she doesn't share the Conservative view of Law & Order. Maybe Diane Finley has less in common with Prime Minister Harper than she does with McGuinty. Maybe her Red Tory views stop her from speaking out in support of her riding. Maybe as a Red Tory she feels more at ease with how McGuinty is handling the situation than a Law & Order Conservative would. One thing is Clear - Doug and Diane Finley want everyone to know that she is more of a Liberal than a Conservative. |
